Charles L. Rohrbaugh

Charles L. Rohrbaugh ’60, 81, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. He was the former husband of the late Janet (Silar) Rohrbaugh.

Charles Rohrbaugh, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024. He was the former husband of the late Janet (Silar) Rohrbaugh.  Mr. Rohrbaugh was born in York on December 4, 1942, and was the son of the late Gordon and Betty (Albert) Rohrbaugh.

Charles proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. He worked as a machine operator for Workflow One and retired after 41 years of service. Charles was musically gifted and he enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and making his own home recordings. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his ever so faithful dogs. He is survived by his two sons, James Rohrbaugh and his wife Linda and Robert Rohrbaugh. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elijah-James Rohrbaugh and Ranay Rohrbaugh; siblings, George Rohrbaugh, Dennis Rohrbaugh, Jay Rohrbaugh and Vickie Porter, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Gordon Rohrbaugh.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 Am on Saturday, February 24th at the Pathway Community Church, 1731 W. Philadelphia St., York, PA 17404. Contributions can be made to Memorial White Rose Home Health & Hospice, 224 St. Charles Way, Suite 100-105, York, PA 17402. Arrangements are under the care of The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., Dallastown.
