Deadlines, Forms & File Drop
Meeting deadlines and submitting required documents are an important part of maintaining CES eligibility.
Important Deadlines
January 1
- Upload your unofficial transcript (must include term and cumulative GPA and credits earned). View sample.
- Upload a detailed spring bill if your college charges by the credit (must include tuition, fees, room and board).
Check your To-Do List on the MyCES portal. - CES target date to submit FAFSA, State Grant, and college-specific financial aid applications. Actual deadlines vary by college and state. CES does not replace financial aid lost or not awarded due to missing application deadlines or failure to successfully complete the FAFSA.

- Submit CES Application. If our e-sign form is incompatible with your device, contact GPS to request a PDF.
- Complete and sign Section 1 of the MHS Release Form and submit it to your Financial Aid Office (email, fax, mail, etc.). MHS does not do this for you. (Note: For the first year of college, MHS seniors complete this at MHS with GPS staff.)
July 15 (or as soon as available)
- Upload a detailed fall bill (must include tuition, fees, room and board). View sample.
- Upload apartment lease, if applicable. The lease must include all pages and be signed by you and the landlord.
- Submit Bonus Funds Request. Before completing this form, check your remaining CES Bonus amount on the Summary: Remaining Funds screen of the MyCES portal. If our e-sign form is incompatible with your device, contact GPS to request a PDF.
- Complete and sign Section 1 of the Summer 2025 Release Form and submit it to your Financial Aid Office (email, fax, mail, etc.). MHS does not do this for you. If our e-sign form is incompatible with your device, contact GPS to request a PDF.
- Submit GPS Disclosure Consent. This one-time form is due from all CES-supported students. If our e-sign form is incompatible with your device, contact GPS to request a PDF.
- If your bank account has changed, use the Direct Deposit Signup screen of the MyCES portal to update your CES record. Allow 2 weeks for your update to be processed.
