Dick Purcell Spartan Classic

The Dick Purcell Spartan Classic stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of leadership, generosity, and commitment to others. Created in partnership by the Dearden Foundation and the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association, this event honors the life and contributions of Dick Purcell, MHS Class of 1961. Known for his remarkable leadership, Dick’s passion for helping others led him and his brother, Milt ’64, to establish the Dearden Foundation, a lifeline for young MHS graduates striving to overcome challenges and build bright futures.
